Kenny Clark played high school football with cousin, Daunte Culpepper, at Vanguard High School in Ocala, Florida. From Vanguard, Clark went with his cousin to the University of Central Florida where he was a two-year captain of the Knights, who finished with 130 receptions for 1,655 yards.

In 2001, Clark signed as a rookie free agent in April with the Minnesota Vikings. He was released just prior to the regular season but was re-signed to the practice squad after one game.

In 2003, Clark was allocated to NFL Europe where he played for the Amsterdam Admirals. As an Admiral he was on the 53-man roster for four games (active for one), but spent the majority of the season on the practice squad.

With the Vikings in 2003, had two kickoff returns for 33 yards (16.5 avg) including a 21-yard long in a week three 23-13 win over Detroit.
