From Ft. Myers, former UCF punter Ryan Flinn appeared in two games for the Green Bay Packers in 2005, totaling six punts for 218 yards.

Flinn made his NFL debut December 25, 2005 in a game against the Chicago Bears. The following week, he kicked against Seattle. He originally signed with the Dallas Cowboys in 2004, then with the Atlanta Falcons in 2005, but was twice released at the end of preseason. After his stint in Green Bay, Flinn signed another contract with Miami Dolphins, but again was released at the end of preseason in 2007.

As a senior at UCF, Flinn won All-MAC honors after averaging 41.8 yards per punt.
