Former Secretary/Florida Dept. of Transportation
Denver J. Stutler is the President of Stutler Strategies, Inc, as well as a founding member of the Perkins Bay. A lifelong Florida resident, Mr. Stutler's professional history highlights his extensive experience in public service, engineering and environmental policy. In 2005, he was named Secretary of Florida's Department of Transportation by Governor Jeb Bush. Prior to his appointment Mr. Stutler served as the Governor's Chief of Staff and Chief of Staff at the Department of Environmental protection. Additionally, Mr. Stutler has also served as Senior Fellow for Senator Connie Mack in the 105th Congress.
Prior to entering public service, Mr. Stutler was a Principle with Camp, Dresser and McKee, Inc., an international environmental engineering firm. He was a 1994 delegate to a NATO-sponsored research conference on Remediation and Management of the Degraded River Basins and was part of an Engineering Ministries International Project team to Kinshasa and the Republic of Congo (formerly Zaire) whose mission was to engineer water supply, wastewater and erosion control improvements. Mr. Stutler received his Bachelor's degree in engineering and his Master's degree in civil engineering from the University of Central Florida.
