-Started eight games, including four on the weekend or in the postseason, and appeared in 16 games overall
-Tied for the team-lead with six victories by going 6-2 with a 5.30 ERA
-Struck out 43 and walked only 12 in 52.2 innings on the hill
-Masterful on Senior Day vs. Marshall (5/21), going 7.0 innings and allowing just one run on seven hits, not walking a batter and striking out nine for the win
-Picked up the victory by pitching 5.2 innings at UAB (5/15), striking out one
-Out of the pen, worked 7.0 innings with eight strikeouts, walking only one and allowing four runs while retiring the last seven batters he faced vs. Houston (4/30)
-Grabbed the win with an inning of relief at Memphis (4/23)
-In a short start vs. Florida, retired all six batters he faced with two strikeouts for the win (4/20)

-Held a 3.68 ERA with a 3-1 record as a freshman to help the squad win the Scenic West Athletic Conference title
-Made 12 appearances and two starts, recording two saves and 20 strikeouts in 29.1 innings
-Pitched and played third base for coach Brian Whitaker at Silverado High School in Las Vegas
-Posted a 2.50 ERA and a 5-4 record in 69 innings as a senior, striking out 70 batters
-First-Team All-Southern Nevada and second-team all-state selection senior year
-Earned first-team all-state, First-Team All-Southern Nevada and First-Team All-Sunrise Region recognition while going 11-0 with a 0.65 ERA in 65 innings as a junior
-A Louisville Slugger Second Team All-American as a junior
-The Skyhawks went 45-5 in 2006 en route to the Sunrise Regional title and serving as the Nevada state runner-up
