It was the seventh one-run game of the year for the Knights.

Junior (2016)
-Made 15 starts as a pitcher and registered a quality start in all but three outings
-2016 The American All-Conference Second Team (P)
-Two-time American Pitcher of the Week (3/7, 4/18)
-Named to the National Pitcher of the Year Watch List
-Won his first seven games as a Saturday starter and was a part of three shutouts
-Compiled a 7-4 mark with a .196 ERA and 65 strikeouts in 101.0 innings of work
-Notched a victory with six strikeouts in 5.2 innings against Siena (2/20) -Tossed six shutout innings against Texas State (2/27) and tallied four strikeouts -Registered 7.1 shutout inning with three strikeouts and only allowed four hits in a win at Rice (3/5)
-Fanned five over 7.1 frames with five strikeouts and only allowing one earned run in a victory vs. LIU (3/12)
-Went eight innings and fanned four, while yielding two earned runs on seven hits to move to 4-0 vs. Brown (3/19)
-Struck out six batters over 7.2 innings in a win over Cornell (3/26)
-Logged eight innings and fanned four while not allowing an earned run at Memphis (4/2)
-Only gave up two earned runs over 6.1 innings at No. 25 Houston (4/9), while striking out three

-Opened season with a victory over Siena (2/14) with seven strikeouts in 5.1 innings
-Earned the win at South Alabama (2/22) by tossing 6.1 innings with two strikeouts and only allowing two earned runs
-Struck out five in seven innings of work and allowed one run against Columbia (3/8)
-Tossed five innings and fanned four to improve to 4-0 against Fairfield (3/14)
-Logged seven innings and four strikeouts against No. 15 Houston (3/28), while allowing three runs
-Yielding one run over eight innings on nine hits and three strikeouts against Memphis (5/10)

Freshman (2014)
-Appeared in 13 games with four starts
-Finished the year with a record of 4-1 with 19 strikeouts and just 11 walks in 32.2 innings
-Became the first freshman since D.J. Hicks in 2009 to make a start on Opening Weekend after tossing four innings and striking out two vs. Siena (2/16)
-Only gave up two hits and threw one strikeout against The Citadel (2/23)
-Had a five-game scoreless appearance streak from 3/26 vs. B-CU to 5/13 at Florida State
-Allowed no hits in three straight relief outings (3.2 ip) vs. Presbyterian (5/9, 5/11) and at Florida State (5/13)
-Finished the season, allowing one run with four strikeouts and no walks in a 7.1-inning start in AAC Tournament win vs. Temple (5/22)

Prior to UCF
-A four-year letterwinner on the Fort White baseball team under head coach Mike Rizzi
-Shined in the classroom as a member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club and Phi Theta Kappa
-A two-year captain, named to the all-area second team while tossing three no-hitters in his junior season, including two in back-to-back starts
-Played basketball his first two years at Fort White
-As a senior, compiled a 7-3 record with a 1.59 ERA on the mound in 14 appearances with four complete games
