-Worked a no-hitter with 20 strikeouts in a win over Lake Gibson March 3, 2009, marking a school record for strikeouts in a game
-Was the winning pitcher in a regional semifinal victory over George Jenkins in the 2008 5A state tournament
-Struck out 40 in 32 innings and was 2-0, earning honorable mention all-county as a junior
-Member of the Chet Lemon's Juice 2008 AAU national championship team
