-Graduated from Travis High School in 2011 as a member of the National Honor Society and was coached by Rodney Hernandez
-As a senior, was Travisâ?TM Player of the Year in baseball and golf, All-County Hitter of the Year and All-Houston honors
-Named Most Improved Player and received all-conference honors as a junior
-Earned 10 letters during high school career; four in baseball, four in golf and two in football
