ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com)- The UCF baseball team returns home for a pair of games this weekend with Jacksonville beginning Friday night at 6:30 and Saturday at 4. On Sunday, the Knights will close the three-day series with a two-hour trip to JU for a 2 p.m. contest.

It will be the first time UCF and the Dolphins (4-9) have met on the diamond since 2010 when the Knights (7-6) swept a pair of home-and-home midweek games. Overall, UCF holds a 35-33 all-time advantage in the series that began in 1973.

Friday night's matchup between right-handed pitchers Ben Lively (3-0, 0.43 ERA) and JU's Chris Anderson (1-1, 1.17 ERA) will pit two premier arms against each other. Dating back to April 20, 2012, Lively has been phenomenal with a 7-0 record, 1.47 ERA in 55 2/3 innings and 48 strikeouts. Anderson has been lights out as of late as well, striking out 13 in each of his last two starts, including a victory over TCU last week.

On Saturday, junior RHP Danny Davis will look to get things going again after he went just five innings against Winthrop. The Brandon, Fla., native is 2-0 with a 3.47 ERA in three starts so far in 2013.

The weekend-series finale will take place at John Sessions Stadium with a 2 p.m. first pitch. With the change in RPI formula that took place in 2013, teams are now rewarded more for competing away from home, hence the two squads playing four total games this year split between the two stadiums. The Knights will pay another visit to Duval County on March 20.

As always, each home contest this weekend can be seen live via All-Access, while Sunday's game will be broadcast free of charge on Stretch Internet radio.
