A battle of aces is set for Friday night as LHP Eric Skoglund (3-0, 1.76 ERA) will square off with righty Matt Hockenberry (3-0, 2.10 ERA). The conference leader in strikeouts, Skoglund earned his second-consecutive American Pitcher of the Week award after becoming the first Knight to toss back-to-back complete games since 2003.

Friday night’s contest will also serve as “Country Knight” as fans are encouraged to dress in their best county gear. Four suite tickets will be given away to the Darius Rucker concert at CFE Arena on April 24.

Saturday evening’s matchup on the mound will feature righty Tanner Olson (2-1, 3.43 ERA) going head-to-head with Owls RHP Preston Hill (0-3, 5.40 ERA). Olson will make his first weekend start for the Knights this season. Sunday will feature to-be-determined starters for both teams.

The Knights kept their winning streak going as they stifled Bethune-Cookman, 4-1, on Wednesday night with eight pitchers combining for a three-hitter. 1B James Vazquez struck a two-run double to put UCF ahead for good.

All three contests with the Owls can be heard live on UCF All-Access with Bryan Levine on the call. Pregame starts 15 minutes prior to first pitch.
