ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF baseball program is inviting players from ninth to 12th grade to participate in its Top Prospect Exposure Camp Aug. 29-30. This great opportunity for high school athletes will be led by the UCF Knights coaching staff.
The participants will be instructed in four phases of the game: hitting, pitching, catching and fielding. Campers will also enjoy the competitive games that will be played during the camp. This camp is designed for the serious baseball player - one who has the interest and desire to play collegiate and/or professional baseball.
The Top Prospect Exposure Camp will be limited to 104 players that will make up eight teams of 13 players. There will only be a limited amount of spots for each position, which will determine the structure of each team.
Day one, Aug. 29 begins with check in at 8 a.m. followed up with an introduction and stretch time. There will then be defensive fundamentals and a pro style workout before three games starting at 3 p.m. The following day includes five games beginning at 9 a.m.
Cost to register for the camp is $250, and prospective campers can sign up by calling UCF assistant coach Aaron Smith at 407-242-4099 or by visiting terryrooneybaseballcamps.com.
