5/25/2016 Johnny Dawkins has announced the signing of Illinois State graduate transfer Nick Banyard. The 6-foot-8 forward is immediately eligible to play in 2016-17 since he will be receiving his undergraduate degree this summer from ISU.

Griffin Returns to Florida

5/23/2016 Louisiana Tech transfer Dayon Griffin has agreed to continue his basketball career at UCF. The 6-foot-5, 200-pound guard will have two years of eligibility remaining after sitting out the upcoming 2016-17 season due to NCAA transfer rules.

Johnny Dawkins Basketball Camps

5/16/2016 Johnny Dawkins will be hosting three basketball camps this summer on the UCF campus. Dawkins' camps provide a fun and safe environment for players in grades K-12 to receive expert coaching and instruction to improve their basketball skills and knowledge of the game.

Terrell Allen Transfers to UCF

5/9/2016 UCF head men’s basketball coach Johnny Dawkins has announced the addition of Drexel transfer Terrell Allen. The Upper Marlboro, Maryland, native will sit out the 2016-17 season per NCAA transfer rules and have three years of eligibility remaining, starting in the 2017-18 season.

Laing Tabbed Final Assistant, Greer Retained

4/28/2016 UCF men’s basketball head coach Johnny Dawkins has announced Robbie Laing, who was previously an assistant at Florida Atlantic for two seasons, as his new assistant coach, rounding out his staff. Dawkins also announced that he would retain Ricardo Greer as the Director of Player Development.
