ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Before the UCF men's basketball team hosts Howard Tuesday evening, members of the UCF Student-Athlete Advisory Committee will be holding a canned food drive inside the front lobby of the UCF Arena. The game is slated to start at 7 p.m.

Items collected at the food drive will be donated to the Central Florida Children's Home and the Second Harvest Food Bank.

The food drive is part of a Conference USA initiative. The mission of UCF's SAAC is to enhance the total student-athlete experience by promoting communication between student-athletes and athletic department administration, protecting the voice and well-being of student-athletes on the local, conference, and national levels, fostering a positive student-athlete image campus-wide, and in the Orlando community through service.
