Haynes graduated from Orlando's Maynard Evans High School in 2000 ... played for coach J.B. Gordon ... rushed for more than 1,400 yards and 15 touchdowns as a senior and had two interceptions on defense ... chosen to play in both the Florida-Georgia and the Florida-California All-Star Games ... was twice named all-state as well as all-metro ... earned all-Orange County, all-Central Florida, and SuperPrep All-America honors as a senior ... noted as a top 100 impact player in the South and one of the top five running backs in Florida ... named Florida Super 85, SuperPrep top-35 running back in the nation, and Bill Buchalter's "Super 27" team ... also excelled in track with a career-best time of 21.89 in the 200-meter high hurdles ... track honors include three-time metro and regional hurdle champion, and two-time district champion ... rated one of the top 40 hurdlers in the nation.
