2002: Prater moved into the starting role immediately as a freshman and earned fourth team Sporting News all-Freshman honors ... made 14-of-21 field goal attempts ... had three field goals in his first career game against Penn State, including his season-high of 53 yards ... his 53-yard boot tied him for the longest field goal by a player in the MAC in 2002 ... was good on four field goal tries against Kent State , tying a school record ... connected on 44-of-47 extra point attempts ... finished the season with a team-high 86 points ... the 86 points also ranked him ninth in the MAC.
