-Selected as Offensive Scout Team Player of the Week for the Houston and USF games
-Switched to wide receiver at the start of the year before moving back to quarterback midway through the season

-Named to the American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team
-At Croke Park Classic vs. Penn State 8/30: DiNovo became the first UCF freshman quarterback since 2010 (Jeff Godfrey) to start a game, and the first since 1996 (Daunte Culpepper) to start a season-opener
-Named an Offensive Scout Team Player of the Week for the Bethune-Cookman and SMU contests

-Member of the American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team
-Selected as the Offensive Scout Team Player of the Week for the Penn State and SMU games
-Received the Kodak Award at UCF's awards banquet, which is given to the Knights Scout Team Player of the Year

-Set the county's single-season passing record with 2,980 yards in 2012, while he also threw for 25 touchdowns
-In the 2012 regional finals against nationally-ranked Dr. Phillips, threw for 318 yards and three touchdowns, highlighted by completing his first 15 passes of the game on the first two drives
-Picked up 2011 first-team all-county and third-team all-state status thanks to more than 2,300 passing yards and 24 touchdowns
-Also as a junior, was the MVP in the National Underclassmen Combine and the Big County Preps Combine, and was the quarterback for the 7-on-7 Team Tampa national championship squad
-Threw for 20 touchdowns as well during his sophomore campaign
-Member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and was a youth volunteer in high school
