-Selected as the Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week leading up to the Missouri game

Redshirt Freshman Season (2013)
-Member of the American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team
-Saw time in nine games mostly on special teams

True Freshman Season (2012)
-Did not see game action while working with the scout team

High School
-Played both weakside defensive end while in the 4-3 scheme, but played mostly outside linebacker in 2011 in a 3-3-5 stack formation with Golden Gate High School
-Coached by Mike DiGrigoli and played three seasons on the varsity squad
-Initially began his varsity career as a safety and made the switch to linebacker following his sophomore season
-Noted as an elite tackler at both positions
-Named to the 2011 Naples Daily News All-Area First-Team Defense as well as second team Collier County Athletic Conference
-Played for the South squad in the 2011 Naples North Rotary All-Star Football Classic
-As a senior in 2011, recorded 98 total tackles and nine sacks
-Had the strongest squat, bench and clean in the 1,000 Pound Club
-Entered the 2011 season as a heralded student-athlete, making Bill Buchalter's statewide top 100 list (No. 94) as well as one of the 21 linebackers named to FlaVarsity.com's Top 160 list
-As a junior (2010), recorded 89 tackles, 6.5 sacks, two fumble recoveries and three forced fumbles
-Was an all-conference selection as a junior
-Had 65 tackles, 8.5 sacks and three forced fumbles as a sophomore (2009), while earning all-conference status
-Was the leading freshman tackler in 2008, playing in three games
-Member of the Key Club and AB Honor Roll
-As a youth football player, played with the Naples Gators, which advanced to the Orange Bowl Youth Football title game
-Also participated on the Titans' men's track team, excelling in the discus and shot put, as well as on the basketball and lacrosse teams
