Florida Citrus Bowl

Quotes from Ohio Head Coach Brian Knorr
"To be able to have the ups and downs of this game and never have anybody quit out there. Guys came up with big plays there at the end of the game, Stafford Owens and a lot of seniors stepped it up. I thought that Chip Cox played well all day. I don't know how many plays Cox and Dion Byrum played but I am sure that it is close to 90 or 100."

"I thought that Taj Henley's interception was a big play, gave us the short field and our offense came in and knocked it in. I thought that we moved the ball on offense in the second half. I thought that our special teams was outstanding. Matt Miller did a great job punting the ball. They (UCF) are very dangerous in the special teams area, probably as good as anybody in the league as far as returners. I thought that we did a good job against Capers."

Quotes from UCF Head Coach George O'Leary
"We sure had our opportunities on offense and I am disappointed in the way we responded to the field position in the first half. I thought that we have to come away with points and then we did not kick the field goals that I thought Mike Prater as a good kicker would kick. There should not be any discussion whether the extra point was good or not, you're suppose to put those down the middle, it wasn't a 50 yard field goal at the end."

"I thought that the players hung in there. I thought defensively they played a great game as far as improvement. Offensively I have some concerns about the consistency. Today we had more field position our way than any one game and we aren't getting it done. Whether it is youth, inexperience especially at the key positions that is what you are looking at."
