ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - UCF held its second-straight practice inside Nicholson Fieldhouse Thursday as the Knights entered the second half of spring camp. One area of focus this spring has been the defensive line and assistant coach Lorenzo Costantini.

The Black and Gold is returning just one defensive lineman from the starting lineup in the 2012 season-opener (E.J. Dunston). Fortunately for the Knights, Deion Green and Thomas Niles matured into key role players during the season as redshirt freshmen, and Demetris Anderson will be eligible after sitting out last year due to transferring from Western Michigan where he played 10 games as a freshman.

Costantini may be the new face in the group, however this will be his fifth year at UCF. The Houston native spent 2000-03 in charge of the Knights' defensive line, and also had coaching stints at UTEP, Tulane, UAB and Southern Miss.

UCFAthletics.com caught up with Costantini to talk about his first season back in Orlando.

UCF will conclude week three of spring camp Saturday with a 10 a.m. practice. The Knights will hold their annual Spring Game April 13, and tickets are currently on sale.

Plan your game days with the Knights, and experience one of the best schedules in program history in the best available seat locations at Bright House Networks Stadium. 2013 season tickets start at $99. To secure your UCF football season tickets, visit UCFAthletics.com or call 407-UCF-1000.
