Orlando, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - For the third-consecutive year, head coach George O'Leary and the UCF football coaching staff will be hosting a women's clinic for the female fans of the program. UCF Football Women's Clinic 301 will be held this Saturday, May 31 this year at the Recruiting Lounge at Bright House Networks Stadium with one of this year's focuses being to show the participants the ins and outs of selling a program to a future recruit.

"Each year of this event we have tried to add a different element to help our female fans learn more about the game of football and how we are building the program here at UCF," assistant athletics director for football operations Marty O'Leary said. "Besides the typical x's and o's on the field, this year we are going to let the participants get a feel for what it is like to be a big-time recruit on campus. That is something I think they will all really enjoy."

Walk-ups are welcome and registration for those wishing to attend who did not sign up on-line will be open at 9 a.m. on Saturday at the recruiting lounge.

Growing in popularity each year, participants have packed the team meeting room at the Wayne Densch Sports Center the previous two seasons, but they can expect more room with the event moving to the recruiting lounge located on the south concourse of the Knights' home stadium.

The clinic, which will also feature seminars on rules, equipment, nutrition, training and strategy, will run from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on that Saturday with registration set to start at 9 a.m.

The participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt, a goody bag and a meal provided at the conclusion of the event.

The cost for the four-hour session is only $30. UCF students will receive admission for $10. Participants are encouraged to take McCulloch Road off of Alafaya and turn right at Gemini for the best access to the event parking. Signs will be posted along the road to aid in the navigation to the recruiting lounge at Bright House Networks Stadium.
