ORLANDO, Fla. ( - There are plenty of advantages to be a season-ticket holder for the 2013 UCF football campaign, and provides five of the top reasons to purchase season tickets over the next five months.

First up in May is the exciting home schedule.

Schedule Notes
-South Carolina finished last year ranked in the top 10, and is led by head coach Steve Spurrier.
-By entertaining South Carolina at Bright House Networks Stadium, UCF will have hosted at least one non-conference school from an automatically-qualifying BCS league every year since 2006, and nine of the 10 seasons under head coach George O'Leary.
-This year marks the second-straight season UCF hosts an SEC school on campus (Missouri in 2012).
-The rivalry with USF resumes at Bright House Networks Stadium, and both games between the two teams in Orlando drew more than 46,000 fans.
-UCF opens up with head coach Terry Bowden's Akron Zips, who the Black and Gold defeated last year in Ohio, 56-14.
-UCF is the only school in the league which will not play an FCS opponent in 2013.
-The clash with Rutgers will be UCF's first Thursday-night contest on ESPN since playing at South Carolina Sept. 1, 2005.
