ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - A staple on the UCF defense since his true freshman campaign in 2011, senior Terrance Plummer was tagged to the College Football Performance Awards Linebacker Trophy Watch List Wednesday.

Plummer was one of 40 FBS players to be on the linebackers watch list. The goal of College Football Performance Awards is to provide the most scientifically rigorous conferments in college football. Recipients are selected exclusively based upon objective scientific rankings of the extent to which individual players increase the overall effectiveness of their teams.

On June 30, classmate Clayton Geathers picked up a spot on the CFPA Defensive Backs Trophy Watch List.

A native of Orange Park, Fla., Plummer led UCF with 110 tackles in 2013 en route to All-American Athletic Conference First Team accolades as well as being voted the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl Defensive MVP. He also was an SI.com Honorable Mention All-American last season.

The 2013 campaign witnessed Pummer set career-highs in tackles, sacks (2.5), tackles for loss (8.5), break-ups (six), interceptions (two) and forced fumbles (two).

For his career, Plummer has posted back-to-back years with at least 100 tackles, and has 235 overall.
