DUBLIN, Ireland (UCFAthletics.com) - It was a very memorable day for UCF Athletics July 14. The Knights announced they would clash with Penn State in the 2014 Croke Park Classic in Dublin, and the attention it received provided UCF with a ton of exposure around the world.

In front of more than 54,000 fans at Croke Park for the Gaelic Athletic Association Leinster Football Finals, members of UCF and Penn State both spoke to the crowd at halftime between Dublin and Meath. A full highlight video of both teams was shown, and the famous Artane Band played both fight songs during the intermission as well.

UCF head coach George O'Leary and Vice President and Director of Athletics Todd Stansbury along with Penn State Director of Athletics Dave Joyner conducted several interviews with national Ireland media during the day. Meanwhile, Coach O'Leary and Joyner will be back at it with television and radio interviews on Monday.
