ORLANDO, Fla. ( - The crazy first week of camp continued for five current Knights Saturday, and their focus was both on the field and at CFE Arena.

Josh Reese, J.J. Worton, Jackie Williams, Clayton Geathers and Joey Grant all graduated Saturday in the arena on campus, and were able to celebrate with family and friends while UCF is in its early stages of preseason camp.

"Today was a great day, I had a lot of family come in to see me graduate," said Reese, a native of Miami. "I was the second child out of my household to graduate college, so it was a good feeling. And to be there with my friends and teammates was a fun experience."

Williams, who missed the first half of practice, was the lone Knight to walk across the stage in the afternoon session.

"It was all a blessing," said Williams, who hails from Alabama. "I had a lot of family come down and it was a great feeling to make them all proud. It was kind of surreal when it got close to my (name) being called up there. I'm just thankful for the opportunity to be able to go to college first of all, and then able to leave with a degree. We had five of us graduate today with three receivers, a center and a DB, and that's going to be the strength of this team is the seniors. So we've got to lead on and off the field."

For practice No. 3 Saturday, UCF broke out the pads for the first time. Head Coach George O'Leary marked the day as when the players really start to separate themselves due to both the tempo and hitting picking up. For photos from practice, click on the below link.
