ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The Knights begin to get into the meat of their preseason schedule. On Saturday, their fourth practice runs from 3:20-5:30 p.m., and it will be their second day in shoulder pads.
-Junior quarterback Blake Bortles was named to the Manning Award Watch List Friday, which was the Oviedo native's fourth watch list he has been selected to in the preseason.
-Based on ESPN's Total Quarterback Rating, Bortles ranked 14th out of the 30 signal-callers on the watch list.

-Jeff Godfrey is beginning his senior season in a club that has just one member. The quarterback-turned-wide receiver is the only Knight in school history to have at least 200 career yards passing (4,095), rushing (1,041) and receiving (429). Godfrey and current WR coach Sean Beckton are the only two with at least 100 career yards in each of those categories.
