ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - An afternoon storm did not stop the Knights from continuing preseason camp Sunday. Only a few players had put their cleats on the grass of the outdoor fields before inclement weather pushed the entire practice inside Nicholson Fieldhouse.

"You never want to get complacent," running back Cedric Thompson said about camp. "If you don't keep pushing, you get into a routine, then you're going to stay the same. Coach (George O'Leary) always tells us, `If you're not getting better, you're getting worse.'"

Wide receiver Josh Reese also mentioned how watching film is necessary this time of year. However after practice, the coaches gave the team the night off to get off their feet after four straight days of work.

The Knights will continue camp Monday afternoon, and the first open practice is slated for Friday.
