ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - When Louisville's Hail Mary fell to the turf Friday night, there was not a celebration just inside the Cardinals' stadium. From watch parties across the country to the UCF campus, there were celebrations everywhere.
Fans even greeted UCF at the Orlando Sanford International Airport at 3 a.m. And even more packed the area outside the Wayne Desnch Sports Center to keep the party going as the Knights returned home in the wee hours of the morning.
With its first win over a top-10 team when it stunned No. 8/6 Louisville, 38-35, to improve to 5-1 on the year and 2-0 in the American Athletic Conference, UCF will soon get to back to work when it hosts UConn Saturday, Oct. 26, at noon at Bright House Networks Stadium. And tickets are still available at UCFKnights.com.
But until then, let's take a look back at Friday night:
