ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The Thanksgiving holiday was a little different for members of the No. 15/17 UCF football team (10-1, 7-0) this year. Since the Knights faced the USF Bulls on Black Friday, the team didn’t have a chance to eat turkey and spend time with their families. However, the players did spend the holiday with their football family.
The night before every home game, UCF stays at the team hotel where the Knights go over their final game plan and get ready to take on their opponent. Obviously, a dinner is given to the players, but this past week the meal was a Thanksgiving feast.
The chefs spent a couple days preparing mashed potatoes, stuffing, casseroles, turkey and more so the Knights would have a nice feast and enjoy the holiday with their football family.
To find out more about what went into preparing the Knights’ Thanksgiving dinner watch the video above.
