SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (UCFKnights.com) - After almost a full week in Arizona, UCF finally got to visit University of Phoenix Stadium on New Year's Eve. And just checking out the facility caused the Knights' anticipation for gameday to rise sharply.

-When UCF arrived for its stadium walk-thru, the logo hovered on the scoreboards and its endzone flashed a perfect black background. Next to the BCS logo in the stadium was the gold "Knights" just like it appears at Bright House Networks Stadium.
-The coaches and players also walked around their new locker room for the game (neither team will be using the Arizona Cardinals' locker room) Tuesday.
-After the stadium visit, UCF went over to Pinnacle High School one final time for its traditional pregame walk-thru. It would be the final practice for the 2013 Knights.
-The second Countdown to the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl Radio Show presented by Orlando-Sanford International Airport took place at the Blue 32 Sports Grille Tuesday. It was a preview for the UCF-Louisville men's basketball watch party later that afternoon.
