After a stellar playing career for the Knights, Cameron Cooksey joined the UCF staff in 2012. He spent the 2012 campaign as the Knights' director of operations before being promoted to the volunteer assistant coach.

UCF Highlights
2011 (Senior): Played in all 21 games...Made 12 starts...Recorded one goal and four assists for 12 points...Registered 16 shots, including six on goal, during the year...Had an assist in the victory over Belmont...In the win at Mercer, tallied a goal and an assist...Dished out one assist at American...Recorded three shots, including two on goal, at FIU...At Memphis, picked up an assist...Started and played 84 minutes in the NCAA Championship second round at USF.

2010 (Junior): Scored two goals and recorded an assist against Jacksonville on 9/1...Netted game-winning goal against Marshall on 9/26...Recorded goal against Memphis on 10/9...Notched the opening goal against Stetson on 10/26...Scored sixth goal of the season against UNF on 11/2...Tallied assist against USF in first round of NCAA Tournament on 11/18...Marked an assist against Michigan on 11/21 in second round of NCAA Tournament.

2009 (Sophomore): Played in 15 games, including six starts. Recorded eight shots with two of them on target...Registered four assists, including one from a long throw-in against UNF on Sept. 4, 2009.

2008 (Freshman): Played in 10 games as a freshman with the Knights, including making nine starts...Tallied an assist on the game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory at Old Dominion on Sept. 14...Recorded 16 shots on the season, with eight of them on goal.
