ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - UCF men's soccer continues its spring preparation on Saturday at 3 p.m. by welcoming Georgia Southern to the UCF Soccer Complex. The Knights opened the spring with a 3-0 win over Tampa as sophomore Romario Williams tallied a hat trick on Feb. 28.

"We focused on our defensive end and transition to attack in the first game of the spring," said head coach Bryan Cunningham. "The team did a tremendous job of limiting their opponent in the final third. It was good first step for our team this spring."

A trio of Knights in sophomore midfielder Mason Miller, freshmen Joe Amico and Dener Dos Santos assisted on the hat trick by Williams. In the below video, Miller recapped the spring opener for UCF and discussed the team's preparation for Georgia Southern.

The slate continues for UCF on March 21 with a contest against FIT at 5:30 p.m. that will be played on the practice field. A two-game road trip begins at Berry on March 29 at 3 p.m. before heading to Jacksonville on April 5.

An alumni match concludes the spring campaign on April 12 at 9:30 a.m. on the practice field.
