Knights to Host Local Rival Stetson Wednesday

ORLANDO, Fla. ( - After a pair of matches away from home this past weekend, UCF is back in Orlando for two contests this week. The homestand starts Wednesday when local rival Stetson visits the UCF Soccer Complex at 7 p.m.

UCF's (1-2-2) young squad spent the weekend in Virginia, competing in the Stihl Classic. On Friday, the Knights played William & Mary to a scoreless draw and then fell 2-1 at Old Dominion Sunday.

UCF will make its debut in the American Athletic Conference Saturday when it hosts No. 11 Louisville.

Through five games, seven true freshmen have seen time for the Knights. Five rookies have earned starts for head coach Bryan Cunningham.

Stetson is 1-3-1 this season.
