ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - Sophomore guard Briahanna Jackson has decided to leave the UCF women's basketball team, head coach Joi Williams announced Friday morning.

"Briahanna Jackson has chosen to leave the team for personal reasons," Williams said. "I have met and spoken with her, and it is a decision that was made after a lot of thought and deliberation. We wish Briahanna the best in her future endeavors. I am confident that the team will continue to work hard in her absence as we carry on with the rest of our conference schedule, and right now that means focusing on Memphis."

UCF returns to the court Saturday at CFE Arena against Memphis at 4 p.m. on the American Digital Network.
