ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - The UCF women's basketball team is headed back to the snowy northeast for the second time in four days, this time to meet juggernaut No. 1 UConn on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Hartford, Conn.

The game will mark UCF's fourth ESPN3 broadcast of the season.

Freshman Zykira Lewis was named to the American Athletic Conference's weekly honor roll after leading UCF (10-15, 3-11) in scoring in back-to-back outings for the first time during conference play this year. Lewis has been a burst of energy off the bench in the last two games, and heading into Wednesday's contest, she averages 13.5 points per game as a reserve compared to her average of 9.7 ppg as a starter.

In their first meeting on New Year's Day, a spirited UCF squad was out-matched by the Huskies, 77-49, in front of a school-record crowd of 3,492. For the fourth time this season, UCF will match up against a nationally ranked opponent -- a season high during the Joi Williams era (2007-present).

UConn boasts an unblemished record of 26-0 (13-0 in conference play) and is riding a 31-game winning streak dating to last season. It marks the sixth-longest win streak in program history. The reigning NCAA champion ranks first in the country for scoring defense, scoring margin, W-L percentage, assists per game, blocked shots per game, assist-turnover ratio and field goal percentage defense.

All-American Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis, who averages 12 points and nearly 5 rebounds per game, is expected to be out 3-6 weeks due to mononucleosis. Breanna Stewart paces the team in scoring with 19.3 points per game as one of five Huskies who average double digits.
