ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Starting in January, Bright House Sports Network will televise a total of 12 UCF men's and women's basketball contests live in central Florida. The broadcast schedule includes four locally-produced telecasts.

On the men's side, the network, which debuted in September, will produce UCF's home contest with Holy Cross on Jan. 6, and Conference USA games from the UCF Arena against SMU (Jan. 28) and Rice (Feb. 25).

Bright House Sports Network will also simulcast five other UCF games, starting with Sunday's contest against Morehead State at the Cancun Challenge in Mexico. The network will televise the Knights' showdown with cross-state foe USF live from the UCF Arena on Dec. 6.

Fans in the area will also be able to watch C-USA home games against Memphis (Jan. 10) and Houston (Feb. 4) and a league road tilt at UAB (Jan. 13).

Head coach Kirk Speraw's squad recorded one of the most significant victories in school history Saturday, posting a 72-71 win at New Mexico. The victory snapped a 33-game home non-conference winning streak for the Lobos.

"We are pleased to partner with the Bright House Sports Network to expand the excitement of UCF basketball to a growing fan base," UCF director of athletics Keith Tribble said. "This is a big step forward for Kirk's program as he we will now have the opportunity showcase UCF and Conference USA basketball throughout the Bright House Networks region."

Bright House Sports Network is a 24-hour local sports network available in central Florida on Bright House Networks digital cable channel 47.

On Feb. 7, Bright House Sports Network will produce UCF's women's C-USA game against SMU in Orlando. The channel will also provide simulcasts of conference games at Houston (Jan. 25) and home C-USA contests versus Memphis (Feb. 26) and UAB (March 1) from Orlando.

Head coach Joi Williams' Knights are slated to participate in the U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam, starting Thursday against Baylor.
