TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - It was a rough second day at the NCAA East Regional for the UCF women's golf team. With one round remaining to play at SouthWood Golf Club, the Knights are tied for 13th place. The top eight teams in the regional will advance to the NCAA Championship.

The Knights entered Friday's play in a tie for sixth place. But a round that included 29 bogeys and four double bogeys pushed UCF down the leaderboard. The Knights are 11 strokes off the pace of the eighth-place Campbell Camels.

Individually, freshman Ashley Holder is the top UCF performer through two rounds. She is in a tie for 37th place at 3-over for the tournament after posting a 76 (+4) Friday. Junior Fanny Cnops fired a 69 in the first round, but slid back to a 79 in the second round. She is tied for 46th at +4. Junior Monifa Sealy is also tied for 46th at +4. Freshman Kristine Odaiyar is 5-over and tied for 55th. Kaitlyn Price is tied for 109th after posting a two-round score of +13.

The third and final round will be played Saturday. The Knights are slated to tee off at 12:15 p.m.
