Senior Claire Frenkel receives her bachelor's degree in psychology this week -- a feat doctors were not sure she would live long enough to reach.

• Served as cox for varsity eight boat
• Finished third in the Collegiate 8+ race at the Chattanooga Head Race
• Defeated Alabama, Louisville, Boston College and Georgetown at the Head of the Charles

• Served as cox for second varsity eight boat
• Defeated in-state rivals Miami, Jacksonville and Stetson during varsity 4 race at Home Regatta
• Member of the crew that finished third in the C USA Championship second varsity 8 race
• Finished second during the second varsity eight race at the Oak Ridge Invitational

• Rowed with second varsity four squad
• Raced against Columbia, Navy and St. Joseph's at the George Washington Invitational
• Beat Miami at home regatta
• Placed fifth in the C final with the second varsity four at the South/Central Regional Championships and the C-USA Championship

• Rowed with the novice team
• Took home first-place honors in the varsity 8+ event and finished third in the first varsity 4+ event at the Metro Cup
• Defeated Wisconsin, Iowa, Kansas State and Texas in the novice 8+ boat at the Longhorn Invitational
• Took first at UCF Regatta against Duke
• Claimed first during the first novice eight event and took second against Virginia in the second novice eight event at Virginia Invitational
• Defeated California, Sacramento State and Texas at Lake Natoma Invitational
• Brought home third at the South/Central Regional Championship finals versus Virginia, Wisconsin, Michigan, Duke and Oklahoma

• Graduated from William R. Boone High School in 2008
• Earned threletters in rowing
• Involved with Spanish Honor Society, National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Teta (Math) Honor Society
• Captain of the SORA Boone Crew
• Rowed for head coaches Justin Lednar and Pamela Wall for three years as a varsity rower and captained the team during her senior campaign
