AUSTIN, Texas - The UCF rowing team concluded day three of the Longhorn Invitational in Austin, Texas with three wins on Sunday. The Knights faced former UCF head coach Leeanne Crain and her Oklahoma squad.
The Knights were able to win three out of five races against the Sooners on Sunday morning. UCF's second varsity eight posted a time of 6:50.80 just four seconds ahead of Oklahoma who came in at 6:54.81.
The second novice eight ended the meet surpassing the competition by 21 seconds with a time of 7:38.40.
The Black and Gold's varsity four boat also had a win, with 7:51.80 over Oklahoma's 8:00.46.
The Knights' varsity eight boat finished in 6:42.47 just behind the winning time of 6:40.80. The novice eight team posted a time of 7:11.80.
UCF's rowers will race again in Bloomington, Ind. April 2-3 at the Dale England Cup.
