ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - The UCF women's soccer team will face five Texas-based teams this season and two are on tap for this weekend, including a top-20 showdown with a fellow defending conference champion.

The No. 18 Knights look to upend No. 7 Texas A&M on Friday at 9 p.m. ET in a matchup set to air on the new SEC Network +/WatchESPN. UCF then head to Fort Worth to take on TCU at 2 p.m. ET Sunday.

The Knights (1-0) are coming off a season-opening win over Miami and will travel to College Station for the first time in 14 years. Since 2009, UCF has posted a 2-4-2 record when facing a Top-10 opponent in the regular season.

The reigning SEC Champions return 54 of 56 goals (96.4 percent), 47 of 48 assists (97.9) and 155 of 160 points (96.9) from last season's arsenal. The Aggies (2-0) protect their home turf well, owning a 192-29-5 (.861) all-time record at Ellis Field.

UCF and TCU will square off for the first time in program history Sunday. TCU split its season-opening weekend with a loss at Washington State before picking up a win at Idaho and will face Missouri on Friday before meeting the Knights.

The Horned Frogs are relatively young as 25 of their 29 on roster are underclassmen. Senior goalkeeper Vittoria Arnold ranks second all-time with 12 shutouts and fifth in career saves (160).

UCF soccer is presented by Napleton's Volkswagen. Season tickets are now available for $30, good for one-general admission seat to all 2014 regular season home matches. As a bonus, season-ticket holders will also receive a special soccer scarf. The GOLD Pass, which includes one general admission seat for all home men's soccer, women's soccer, volleyball, softball, women's basketball and track & field events, is available for $90. For more information on how to purchase tickets, visit UCFKnights.com or call 407-UCF-1000.
