ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - After helping UCF push its unbeaten streak to 11 matches with a win and a draw over the weekend, Lena Petermann was selected as the American Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week Monday. The rookie honor was the fourth of the season for Petermann.

She scored the deciding goal in the 64th minute to help the Knights gain a 1-1 draw against host Cincinnati and then logged all but seven minutes in the 1-0 victory at Louisville, which left UCF (11-2-2, 4-0-1 The American) as the league's lone unbeaten team in conference play.

A native of Germany, Petermann ranks second on the squad with six goals and three assists for 15 points this season. She is tied for eighth in The American in goals per game at 0.44.

Petermann and the Knights will play their final regular-season home matches this weekend, facing Rutgers Friday and Memphis Sunday.
