ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - Momentum continues to roll in the UCF women's soccer team's favor as the Knights (13-2-2, 6-0-1) once again rose in all three major national polls Tuesday.

Soccer America listed UCF at No. 15 (up three spots from last week); Top Drawer Soccer bumped up the Knights four spots to No. 17; and the NSCAA put UCF at No. 19. UCF returned to the NSCAA national top-25 on Oct. 1 after receiving votes for four weeks. The team previously had been ranked every week from Dec. 6, 2011 - Sept. 3, 2013.

UCF was also heavily featured in the NSCAA Weekly College Highlights and Rankings Show as host Dean Linke and UNC women's soccer head coach Anson Dorrance discussed the Knights' school-record unbeaten streak and Tiffany Roberts Sahaydak's success in her first year as UCF's head coach.

"I think they hired really well in pulling Tiffany in," Dorrance said. "Tiffany has a tremendous pedigree. She played for us, played on the national team. She is a charismatic young coach and she's doing an absolutely fantastic job."

The Knights are the only American Athletic Conference program among the top 25 in any of the polls. Virginia is the NSCAA's No. 1 followed by UCLA, Florida State, Virginia Tech and North Carolina in the top five.

UCF also moved into the top 10 of the RPI rankings  at No. 9 on Monday, barely behind No. 8 Florida State as the highest ranked program in the state of Florida. The standings rate more than 325 teams based upon their wins, losses and strength of schedule.

UCF currently rank among the top 20 teams in the country for several statistical categories. Here's the breakdown:

UCF Among NCAA Stat Leaders
Category Rank (Stat)
Points 13th (7.24)
W-L-T Percentage 13th (.824)
Scoring Offense 17th (2.47)
Assists 18th (2.29)
Goals Against Average 23rd (.629)

As the only remaining unbeaten team in conference play, UCF is in the driver's seat to clinch the regular season title this weekend on its road trip to Texas. The Knights face Houston at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday before meeting SMU in the regular season finale Sunday at 2 p.m. ET.
