ORLANDO, Fla. ( - The No. 13/14 UCF women's soccer team begins its quest for another championship title this Sunday at 1 p.m.

The No. 1-seeded Knights will face the winner of Friday's neutral-site matchup between No. 8 SMU/No. 9 Temple being held at the UCF Soccer Complex. The teams will be vying for a berth to the championship weekend during Sunday's quarterfinal matchup.

UCF, who was selected as the preseason favorite in the league's coaches' poll, has a target on its back after rolling through league play with an undefeated record. The Knights are riding a school-record 15 match unbeaten streak heading into the inaugural tournament.

In their regular season meetings, UCF downed Temple, 4-1, at home and just handed SMU a 1-0 loss on the road on Oct. 27 to clinch the regular season title.

The American's other teams will play their matches at various on-campus sites. The semifinals will be held at UCF's campus on Nov. 8 at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. with the ESPNU-televised championship match set to take place Nov. 10 at noon. Tickets are available for purchase now through
