ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - The celebration of UCF's historic American Athletic Conference Championship and automatic NCAA Tournament bid continued Tuesday as UCF goalkeeper Connie Organ was named the Disney Soccer/NSCAA Player of the Week.

The sophomore is UCF's third women's soccer player to earn the honor. Organ warranted the praise after her performance in UCF's extended shootout against Rutgers, coming up with two heart-stopping saves to clinch the first American tournament crown in league history.

Organ was not the only Knight recognized for her efforts in the tournament as senior defender Marissa Diggs was selected to Top Drawer Soccer's Team of the Week.

UCF also climbed to its highest mark in the NSCAA national poll for the season, checking it at No. 16. The Knights are also ranked 16th by Soccer America and No. 9 by Top Drawer Soccer.

UCF is the only American Athletic Conference program among the top 25 in any of the standings. Virginia is the NSCAA's No. 1 followed by UCLA, Florida State, Virginia Tech and North Carolina in the top five.

UCF is listed at No. 11 in the RPI rankings, which rates more than 325 teams based upon their wins, losses and strength of schedule.

Goalkeeper Lianne Maldonado ranks seventh in the nation for goals-against average. Furthermore, the Knights stand among the top 25 teams in the country for several statistical categories. Here's the breakdown:
