ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - The No. 9/16 UCF women's soccer team is ready for another round of postseason play at the UCF Soccer Complex this weekend. The Knights (16-2-4) meet St. John's (11-5-3) for the first time in history Saturday at 7 p.m.

The Knights, who secured an automatic bid to the tournament by winning the American Athletic Conference's inaugural title, earned the No. 3 seed in their region and are one of 16 teams in the tournament to earn a national seed. UCF is making its 18th NCAA Championship appearance and seventh in a row.

The Knights are riding a school-record 18-match unbeaten streak heading into the NCAA Tournament and have not trailed an opponent in their last 658:24 minutes played.

The Red Storm made history by earning the program's second NCAA Tournament bid in the program's 27th year of existence. St. John's, the fourth seed in the BIG EAST conference tournament, notched a 3-2 come-from-behind victory over Butler in the opening round before suffering a 2-0 loss to top seed Marquette in the semifinals Nov. 8.

Sophomore forward Rachel Daly leads the nation in goals (22) and was named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year. St. John's is one of four BIG EAST teams to make the field of 64, which includes Marquette, Georgetown and DePaul.

The winner will advance to meet the winner of Arkansas-Oklahoma State. The second round and Sweet 16 will be held Nov. 22 and 24, on a campus site yet to be announced.

Due to an event at CFE Arena, fans attending the game can park for free in Baseball stadium grass lot behind the outfield or the E8 surface lot located off Orion Boulevard, north of Bright House Networks Stadium. Gates to the UCF Soccer Complex will open at 6 p.m. Visit UCFKnights.com or call (407) UCF-1000 to purchase tickets.
