Made her collegiate debut at the Diet Pepsi Invitational, where she broke the freshman record with a time of 10:15.54 in the 3,000m...time ranked third all-time at UCF...took second in the 5,000m in 17:29.55, which ranks third all-time at UCF...finished fifth in the 3,000m at 10:14.88, bettering her own freshman record, at the Clemson Invitational...took sixth in the 5,000m in 17:26. 67 and ran the 3,000m in 10:16.17 for 11th place at the C-USA Indoor Championship...broke her own school record in the 5,000m with a time of 17:22.74 at the Disney Invitational...took fourth in the 5,000m at the FSU Relays...won the 10,000m at the Sea Ray Relays by breaking the UCF freshman record with a time of 35:41...claimed third in the 3,000m with a time of 10:13.59 at the Golden Knight Twilight...finished second in the 10,000m and fifth in the 5,000m at the C-USA Outdoor Championship...performance earned her C-USA Female Freshman of the Year honors and all-conference recognition in the 10,000m.
Prior to UCF... Twice earned the group championship in cross country and indoor track as a member of the Jackson Memorial High School...qualified for the New Jersey Meet of Champions three consecutive years...earned Newark Star-Ledger All-State honors from 2002-04...holds the Ocean County Championship course record...was a Footlocker finalist in 2003...placed eighth in the Footlocker Northeast Regional in 2003 and 11th in 2004...owns the 12th best time ever at Holmdel Park at 18:24...ranked sixth nationally in the 5,000m during the spring of 2006...inducted into the National Honor Society...received the JMHS Scholar-Athlete Award all four years...volunteered with the Special Olympics and at Young at Heart Elderly Day Care Center.
