Prior to UCF: Earned seven All-American honors seven at the University of Tennessee...Also won championships in the 2007 Pan American Junior Games in both the 100m dash and the 4x100m relay...Participated in 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials...Posted a personal-best 23.12 in the 200m at the NCAA Mideast Regional in 2008...Ran an indoor personal-best 23.54 during the SEC Championships in 2007...Also in 2007, ran a personal-best 11.24 in the 100m dash...At New Rochelle HS, she was the outdoor state champion in both the 100 and 200m dashes, indoor national champion in 200m dash and indoor state champion in the 60 and 200m dash...Ran a personal-best 6.94 in the 55m dash in high school.
