KAZAN, Russia (UCFAthletics.com) - UCF's Aurieyall Scott once again earned the right to stand on the victor's podium at the World University Games on Friday.

Representing Team USA in the 4x100 finals, Scott and her teammates - 100H champion Vashti Thomas (Academy of Art - San Francisco), Jade Barber (Notre Dame) and Tristie Johnson (Bethune-Cookman) - earned the silver medal with a time of 43.54.

Ukraine's fluid baton passing down the stretch helped the team clinch gold with a time of 42.77.

In Thursday's prelims, Scott jetted through the second leg to help the U.S. edge Russia for the fastest time of heat one (44.08).

Individually, Scott delivered Team USA's first gold medal of the meet with a victory in Monday's 100M finals and made history in the process as UCF's first medalist at the World University Games.
