UCF Track & Field Begins Husker Invitational

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - The UCF track and field team continues its indoor season on Friday at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational in Lincoln, Neb.

This is the third of four meets scheduled for the Bob Deveaney Center Sports Center. The 39th-annual Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational is set to begin at noon.

The first event for the Knights is the weight throw at 5 p.m. with Kalen Hambrick and Destinee Romain, who broke the school record in her last time out, in the field. Lia King represents UCF in the 60 hurdles, the first running event at 6 p.m.

Among the teams in the field are host Nebraska, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas State, Southern Cal, Auburn, No. 24 Oklahoma State, Cal State Fullerton, Iowa State and Arkansas State.
