ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - The UCF Track and Field team travels north to Gainesville this weekend for the Pepsi Florida Relays at James G. Pressly Stadium at Percy Beard Track.

This is the first road trip for the Knights during the outdoor season. The premiere event features top-10 teams in No. 4 Florida, No. 5 Kentucky, No. 6 Georgia and No. 7 Southern California.

The Knights Athletes of the Week, senior Afia Charles and sophomore Kalen Hambrick, look back that the second home meet for UCF and the challenge that the Pepsi Florida Relays present in the video at the top of the page.

Sophomore Devinn Cartwright and Lia King begin the three-day meet for the Knights on Friday at 12:35 p.m. with the 100M hurdles.

Saturday's running events begin at 12:30 p.m. with the sprint medley team of senior Jen Clayton, sophomore Briana Vaughn, freshman J'Nea Bellamy and Charles. The hammer throw competition for seniors Destinee Romain and Hambrick begin at 10 a.m.
