ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Rested and ready-to-go after a week off from action, the No. 13 UCF Track and Field team will face its toughest test yet of the outdoor season when the Knights travel to the Florida Relays on Friday and Saturday.

A year after she claimed the Relays meet record for high school competitors in the 100 Meters, freshman Octavious Freeman returns to Gainesville for her first appearance in the event this season. She will headline five Knights in the race as the only collegiate runner in the first heat. Freeman will run alongside Simone Facey and Adidas' Tiffany Townsend, who both own performances among the top-12 fastest times in the world.

Sophomore Dominique Booker, who ranks among the top 20 in the world heading into this weekend, will represent the black and gold in the event along with freshman Christal Peterson, junior Amanda Leland and senior Sheila Paul.

Paul and Freeman will also compete in the same heat of the 200 Meters. Freeman leads the NCAA in the event while Paul checks in among the top 25.

Sophomore Afia Charles will have her work cut out for her in the 400 Meters. Charles will go toe-to-toe with three other competitors in her heat who also rank among the top 10 in the country.

Senior Jackie Coward, who ranks among the world's top 10, will compete in a stacked 100 Hurdles alongside UCF alum Tiki James and fellow senior Karessa Farley, who is scheduled to compete in her first race of 2012.

On Saturday, Precious Ogunleye will get things started in the hammer throw after topping the school's freshman record in her most recent appearance in the event. Ogunleye will also compete in the shot put and will join sophomore Destinee Romain and Satrina Oliveira in the discus.

Junior Sonnisha Williams and sophomore Jen Clayton will make their long-awaited outdoor debuts in the long jump alongside Jacquelyn Gilchrist, who currently ranks among the NCAA's top 20 in the event. Gilchrist is also scheduled to perform in the triple jump with senior Tomika Story.

Ne'Ausha Logan, Erica Winston, Shelby Blaes and Teresa Huff will comprise UCF's middle-distance and distance crew while Erica Weiss will represent UCF in the pole vault.
