HOUSTON, Texas (UCFAthletics.com) - The No. 12 UCF track and field team is ready for one last run at the Conference USA Outdoor Championships this weekend at Rice's Halloway Field/Ley Track facility. The Knights could become the first women's program in conference history to clinch four-straight outdoor crowns.

Their quest begins Friday at 3:30 p.m. ET with the hammer. The 10,000-meter final is also on tap Friday before the bulk of competition begins Saturday at 5 p.m. ET with the long jump. Sunday, all events are final with the championship set to conclude with the awards presentation at 10 p.m. ET.

The Knights have fond memories of their last trip to Rice when they rose to the top for their second crown at the 2011 outdoor championships. This year's meet will be televised by Fox Sports Network on a tape delay with the first airing set for Friday, May 17. Live results will be posted at the C-USA Outdoor Track and Field Championship Central and provided by Flash Texas.

UCF boasts three-returning champions in sophomore Octavious Freeman (100M), Aurieyall Scott (200M; 2011, 2012) and Ne'Ausha Logan (800M). UCF won the indoor conference crown in February.

Both @UCF_Track and @ConferenceUSA1 will provide updates on Twitter, and the official hashtags of the championships are #CUSAChamp and #CUSATF.
